FREEHOLDERS TO HOST NINTH ANNUAL GREEK FLAG RAISING IN OCEAN COUNTY

TOMS RIVER - The Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders invite the public to attend the ninth annual Greek Flag Raising Ceremony at 4 p.m. on March 25, in the Ocean County Administration Building, here.

"We are pleased to be able to celebrate Greek Independence Day by raising the flag here," said Freeholder Director James F. Lacey. "Raising the flags of other countries gives us an opportunity to appreciate the various cultures we have living in Ocean County."

The flag raising ceremony is sponsored by the St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church of Ocean County and will feature dancing by the Greek Orthodox Youth Association.
